Here are the candidates for SBLive's Florida High School Athlete of the Week for March 14-20 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote below. THIS WEEK’S FLORIDA ATHLETE OF THE WEEK NOMINEES:

SOFTBALL

Katie Campbell, Jr. (Mariner)

Campbell drove in four runs, going 3-of-4 on March 16, in a 10-3 win over Lehigh.

Julia Knowler, Jr. (Fort Myers)

Knowler drove in six runs, and hit two home runs on March 15, in a 13-0 win over Lehigh.

Lindsey Lesher, Sr. (Niceville)

Lesher drove in three runs and went 2-of-3 at the plate on March 14, in a 19-4 win over Choctawhatchee.

Avery Powers, Fr. (Berkeley Prep)

Powers struck out seven batters in three innings of relief on March 15, in a 6-5 win over Inspiration Academy.

Alex Wright, Jr. (Lake Region)

Wright pitched six innings and allowed just one hit and no runs on March 18, in a 10-0 win over Palmetto.

BASEBALL

Cade Kurland, Jr. (Berkeley Prep)

Kurland hit two home runs this week and recorded his 100th career hit leading the Buccaneers to a 3-0 week.

Caden McDonald, Jr. (Sickles)

McDonald hit two home runs and drove in four runs in the Saladino Tournament Championship game. The Gryphons went 3-1 in the tournament.

Gavin Hause, Sr. (North Fort Myers)

Hause drove in two runs and scored three runs on March 15, in a 10-0 win over Cape Coral.

Aidan Miller, Jr. (Mitchell)

Miller drove in two runs and went 2-for-3 at the plate on March 18, in a 7-4 win over River Ridge.

Zachary Root, Sr. (Fort Myers)

Root recorded 14 strikeouts in 6 innings of work on March 15, in a 1-0 win over Lemon Bay.
