Here are the candidates for SBLive's Florida High School Athlete of the Week for April 4-10 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote below. SOFTBALL

Hannah Church, Berkeley Prep

The Ohio State commit hit two home runs and drove in three on April 8, leading the Lady Buccaneers to a 10-1 win over Sumner.

Lexi Perez, Orlando Christian Prep

Perez drove in four runs and hit a home run on April 8, in a 11-1 win over Lake Minneola.

Madelyn Mayo, Florida State University High (Tallahassee)

Mayo went deep twice and drove in three runs on April 7, in a 13-2 win over North Bay Haven.

Audrey Luedtke, Milton

Luedtke drove in four runs and hit a home run on April 4, in a 8-3 win over Fort Walton Beach.

Jayden Heavner, Pace

Heavner struck out 28 batters in 12 1/3 innings pitched on April 8, in a 3-0 loss vs Jay.

Mallory Forrester, Middleburg

Forrester struck out 21 batters in seven shutout innings on April 5, in a 3-0 win over Bartram Trail.

BASEBALL

Cameron Smith, Palm Beach Central

Smith drove in two runs and scored four on April 5, in a 15-9 win over King’s Academy.

Colton Avera, Trinity Christian Academy (Jacksonville)

Avera drove in two runs and scored twice on April 5, in a 14-3 win over Ponte Vedra.

Ashton Westphall, Gateway Charter

Westphall drove in four runs back on April 6, in a 16-1 win over Gateway.

Jack Clement, Stoneman Douglas

Clement pitched five shutout innings and allowed just two hits on April 8, in a 11-0 win over Orange Lutheran (California).

Elijah Roberts, Clay (Green Cove Springs)

Roberts struck out nine batters in four innings of relief on April 6, in a 6-5 loss vs Creekside.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Ryann Frechette, Bartram Trail

Frechette scored five goals and had four assists on April 5, in a 15-5 win over Starr’s Mill.

Ashley Quinn, Berkeley Prep

Quinn scored 11 goals on April 9, in a 18-16 loss vs Community School of Naples.

Maggie Wilson, Boca Raton

Wilson scored six goals and had 11 assists on April 8, in a 26-3 win over Coral Springs.

BOYS LACROSSE

Everett Thompson, Maclay

Thompson scored four goals and had three assists on April 7, in a 17-2 win over West Florida.

Luke Haley, Newsome

Haley scored six goals and recorded an assist on April 5, in a 21-0 win over Robinson.
