Chloe Kitts, one of the top girls basketball players in the country, to transfer from DME Academy to Faith Christian

Nation's No. 16 player Chloe Kitts will have a new team for her senior season

After spending the previous two seasons at nationally ranked DME Academy, forward Chloe Kitts will transfer to Faith Christian for her senior season.

In 21 games this past season, Kitts averaged 18.7 points and 8.2 rebounds per game leading DME Academy to their first GEICO Nationals bid in Fort Myers last month.

Chloe’s dad Jason was named the new athletic director at Faith Christian earlier this month and her former coach Josh Johns has taken over the girls’ basketball program at the school following the dismissal of Eduardo Soto.

According to the ESPNw recruiting rankings, Kitts is ranked No. 16 in the nation in the class of 2023.

Kitts’ is no stranger to the Central Florida area as she played her freshman season at The Master’s Academy in Oviedo where they reached the state semifinals in 2020.

“We are just enjoying the process and building strong relationships with each school and want the best fit for her,” said Jason Kitts when asked about Chloe’s recruitment process.

Chloe's younger sister, Kylee, will also be enrolling at Faith Christian as she goes into her sophomore year. She holds interest from mid-major Division I schools.
