How the SBLive Florida Power 25 fared in Week 6

1 - Chaminade-Madonna did not play; Game moved vs. Treasure Coast to 10-4-2022

The Lions did not have a game, as they prepare to face Treasure Coast on Tuesday.

2 - Miami Central beat North Miami Beach, 41-0

Sounds like no matter what the circumstances are, the Rockets will show up and ball out. Central head coach Jube Joseph says it can be on aisle 3 at Walgreens, his Rockets will be there. 

3 - Plantation American Heritage beat No. 7 Cardinal Gibbons, 21-2

It wasn’t the prettiest in but of course the Patriots will take it. They got a touchdown and interception out of star Ohio State commit Brandon Inniss. 

4 - IMG Academy did not play; Game vs. Jones cancelled 

The Ascenders did not have a game, as their game vs. Jones was cancelled due to Hurricane Ian. 

5 - St. Thomas Aquinas did not play; Game vs. Miramar cancelled 

The Raiders did not have a game, as their game vs. Miramar was cancelled due to Hurricane Ian. 

6 - Columbus beat Miami, 55-14

The Explorers rushed out to a 20-0 first quarter lead and never looked back in a blowout victory over Miami. 

7 - Cardinal Gibbons lost to No. 3 Plantation American Heritage, 21-2

After an early safety and leading 2-0, the Chiefs couldn’t produce any kind of offense. Cardinal Gibbons gave up 21 unanswered points en route to loss No. 1. 

8 - Lakeland beat Lake Gibson, 47-14

The Dreadnaughts got their game in versus the Braves early in the week and beat up on their Polk County rivals behind a strong rushing effort. 

9 - Tampa Bay Tech did not play; Game vs. Freedom rescheduled for 10-3-2022 

The Titans did not have a game, as they prepare to face Freedom on Monday in a rescheduled contest.

10 - Pine Forest beat Fort Walton Beach, 54-0

This one was a snoozer for the Eagles. We will sound like a broken record but finally, we get Niceville vs. Pine Forest this upcoming week. 

11 - Edgewater did not play; Game vs. Wekiva cancelled

The Fightin’ Eagles did not have a game, as their game vs. Wekiva was cancelled due to Hurricane Ian. 

12 - Northwestern did not play; Bye week

The Bulls did not have a game, as they prepare to host Miami Central on Friday.

13 - Trinity Christian did not play; Game vs. Christ’s Church postponed 

The Conquerors did not have a game, as their game vs. Christ’s Church was postponed due to Hurricane Ian. 

14 - Venice did not play; Game vs. Sarasota Riverview postponed 

The Indians did not have a game, as their game vs. Sarasota Riverview was postponed due to Hurricane Ian. 

15 - Sanford Seminole did not play: Game vs. Apopka postponed 

The Seminoles did not have a game, as their game vs. Apopka was postponed due to Hurricane Ian. 

16 - Buchholz did not play; Bye week

The Bobcats did not have a game, as they prepare to host Gainesville on Thursday.

The Broncos improved to 6-0 on the season as they defeated South Miami in a grind it out contest.

The Kowboys did not have a game, as their game vs. St. Cloud was postponed due to Hurricane Ian. 

19 - Jones did not play; Game vs. IMG Academy cancelled 

The Fightin’ Tigers did not have a game, as their game vs. IMG Academy was cancelled due to Hurricane Ian. 

20 - Booker T. Washington beat Jackson, 36-15

The Tornadoes played a Saturday afternoon game against Jackson and rolled to a 21-point victory. 

21 - Naples did not play; Game vs. Barron Collier postponed

The Golden Eagles did not have a game, as their game vs. Barron Collier was postponed due to Hurricane Ian. 

22 - Armwood did not play; Game vs. Wharton rescheduled for 10-3-2022

The Hawks did not have a game, as they prepare to face Wharton on Monday in a rescheduled contest.

23 - Jesuit did not play; Game vs. Leto rescheduled for 10-3-2022

The Tigers did not have a game, as they prepare to face Leto on Monday in a rescheduled contest.
