Keveun Mason, Lake Placid, Football: Lake Placid sophomore Keveun Mason rushed for 363 yards and five touchdowns. He, also scored on a 2-point conversion run and had a 98-yard kickoff return for a touchdown called back.

Damarcus Creecy, Mainland, Football: Mainland signal caller Damarcus Creecy came up huge for his team when they needed him. Creecy was 23-of-31, 315 yards, three touchdowns passing and rushed 13 times for 94 yards and one score in the 39-26 victory over Lake Minneola.

Gio Cascione, Jensen Beach, Football: It’s going to be hard to argue against the states that Cascione put up this past week. The quarterback completed 32-of-45 passes for 415 yards and four touchdowns.

Caleb Wilkinson, Sebastian River, Cross Country: The Sharks’ long distance runner was able to set a school cross country record in the 5k with a time of 16:53.2.

Colin Hurley, Trinity Christian Academy, Football: When a game becomes high scoring, you begin to lean on your passing attack a bit more. That’s what happened for Trinity Christian’s Hurley, who threw four touchdowns in a 43-30 win over Columbia.

Brooks Bentley, Venice, Football: This submission for Venice quarterback Brooks Bentley wasn’t so much for the big stat line, but pulling his team out of a hole. Bentley had over 200 yards of total offense and had a hand in Venice’s three touchdowns in the 24-17 win over Sanford Seminole.

Dante Turner, Mount Dora, Football: Turner was a human highlight reel on Thursday night when the Hurricanes pulled off a thrilling 48-47 win over South Lake. The running back had 33 carries for 251 yards and scored three touchdowns. Big time performance for the Mount Dora back.

Taylor Parks, Calvary Christian, Volleyball: In a matchup between a couple of state championship teams from last year, Calvary Christian got the better of Plant. Parks, a Florida Gator commitment, notched 63 assists, four kills and three blocks in the Warriors’ 3-2 win over the Panthers.
