Watch: Hezekiah Harris throws for two scores as Aquinas moves to 6-0

Raiders overcome an early deficit with three unanswered touchdowns

FT. LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA  – Trailing 6-3 early in the second quarter St. Thomas Aquinas got its offense in gear and roared past host Dillard for a 24-6 victory at Traz Powell Stadium, Friday night.

Senior quarterback Hezekiah Harris tossed a pair of touchdown passes for the Raiders, with senior Isaiah Hardge and junior Chance Robinson grabbing one each.

Those passing scores were sandwiched around a rushing touchdown by junior Jordan Lyle.

Aquinas improved to 6-0 with the win and the Raiders will return home this Friday to face Fort Lauderdale High. Dillard, which has played one of the state’s toughest schedules thus far, with all of its losses coming to nationally ranked teams, fell to 2-3. The Panthers will look to return to .500 when they visit Plantation on Friday.
