Are you not entertained yet? We know that line gets used quite frequently, but the high school football season between Hillsborough and Pinellas counties have been interesting when it comes to Friday night results lately. 

Take the highly anticipated matchup between Tampa Bay Tech and Wharton. What on paper looked to be a knock down, draw it out kinda game turned into a one-sides affair in favor of the Titans. The Wildcats will be fine, but its clear who’s got the best team in Tampa this season. 

Armwood bounced back after a stunning loss to Steinbrenner and Jesuit was able to easily dispatch Gaither at home. Durant ended up defeating neighboring rival Newsome in a thriller that came down to overtime. Plant is on its way to their first district championship in the post-Bob Weimer era and now under Hank Brown. 

Over in Pinellas County, Calvary Christian just continues to score a lot of points at a premium, with a combined 104 between two games they’ve played. The Warriors put up 55 against their crosstown foes, the Clearwater Tornadoes. Clearwater Central Catholic put up its fair share of yards in a big win over Cambridge Christian. 

The Largo Packers have continued to impress under head coach Marcus Paschal after picking up an impressive victory against an improving Seminole Warhawks team. Lakewood needed to come from behind to defeat Gibbs and East Lake had their way in a blowout win over Sickles.
