When it comes to successful programs in the Heartland region of the Sunshine State, you can’t go too far without mentioning LaVaar Scott’s Sebring Blue Streaks. 

Playing out of Firemen’s Field down in Highlands County, Scott has found the formula to always having his Sebring team competing for district championships and making a deep run through the postseason. 

Scott recently led Sebring to the Class 5A state semifinals in 2021 before bowing out. Winning and the Blue Streaks have come hand in hand. Over the course of the last six seasons, Scott has led Sebring to 45 victories under his watch.
