Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Florida High School Athlete of the Week for Feb. 26-Mar. 2 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page. Voting will conclude on Sunday, March 10th at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced in next week's poll.

Here are the nominees: 

Ryan Hansen, Baseball, St. Augustine: Hansen was a single away from the cycle as he went 4-for-4 with one double, one triple and two home runs last week versus Ridgeview. He also added three more RBIs and another home run against Camden County (Georgia). 

Gio Rojas, Baseball, Marjory Stoneman Douglas: Just a sophomore, the left-handed Rojas was one out away from tossing a perfect game against Taravella. The pitcher settled for a one-hit shutout, striking out 18 batters. 

Jackson Cucchi, Baseball, Plant: The freshman standout went yard not once, but twice in the Panthers’ 13-2 win over Blake. Cucchi belted two home runs and drove in five runs. 

Cooper Middleton, Baseball, Inspiration Academy: Middleton went off in the Lions’ 16-0 win over Reborn Christian Academy, going 4-for-4 with six runs driven in. 

Tanielu Cox, Baseball, Cornerstone Charter: The sophomore sensation went 3-for-3 with a home run, two doubles, two runs scored and four RBI to lead the Ducks past Trinity Christian 8-7. 

Kaleb Bermudez, Baseball, Gateway: The sophomore went 4-for-5 with two doubles, two triples, three runs scored and three RBI to lead the Panthers past Liberty, 19-6. 

Jalynn Copeland, Baseball, Blountstown: The freshman shortstop went 3-for-3 with two RBIs and one home run in a victory last Monday. Copeland added three more hits, including two triples and three RBIs in their win over FAMU DRS.

Addison Maliga, Softball, Bartram Trail: Maliga went 4-for-4 including one RBI and one triple as the Bears were victorious over Palatka last week. 

Addy Arlotta, Softball, Colonial: The senior ripped two doubles and a triple, scored twice and drove in three runs to lead the Grenadiers past Evans, 16-1.

Julia Benamati, Softball, Olympia: The senior went 3-for-4 with a triple, four runs scored and three RBI to lead the Titans past Freedom, 17-0. 

Allison Cole, Softball, Sarasota Riverview: In a 2-1 win over Palmetto last week, the junior hurler went seven innings, allowed just two hits and fanned 13 batters. 

Jade Carnahan, Softball, Inspiration Academy: The junior third baseman was clutch in the Lions’ 6-0 victory over Venice. Carnahan notched two triples and drove in a run. 

Alivia Miller, Softball, Springstead: The freshman pitcher had another strong outing for the Eagles. Miller went seven innings, allowed just one hit and strikeout 13 batters in a 6-1 win over Lecanto.

Aliyah Roseman, Softball, Dunedin: Roseman had a big game in the Falcons’ 12-2 win over Tarpon Springs last week. The freshman went 3-for-4 with a double, home run and five RBIs. 

Isabella Kendall, Girls Flag Football, Navarre: Not many quarterbacks in the Florida Panhandle played any better than Kendall, as the signal caller completed 23-of-32 passes for 168 yards and four touchdowns. She also picked off three passes on defense. 

Kirabella Williams, Girls Flag Football, Crescent City: The Raiders' quarterback had a huge night in the team's 51-0 victory over St. John Lutheran. Williams threw for 295 yards and five touchdowns. 

Madison Boyd, Girls Flag Football, Trinity Catholic: Another quarterback that had herself a big night under center was the Celtics' Boyd. The signal caller completed 12-of-15 passes for 197 yards and four touchdowns. 

Rachel White, Girls Flag Football, FSU High: White had arguably one of the top rushing performances of any running back in the state last week. White rushed for 211 yards on 20 carries and two touchdowns in a win Columbia. 

Peyton Dison, Girls Flag Football, Lecanto: Lecanto is on a roll behind the right arm of Dison. The quarterback completed 9-of-18 passes for 177 yards and four touchdowns in a 51-0 win over Crystal River. 

Rakayia Louis, Girls Flag Football, Miami Edison: Louis showed everyone her ability to spin the rock in the Red Raiders' 40-0 win over True North Classical. The quarterback threw for 325 yards and five touchdowns. 

Haidyn Spano, Girls Flag Football, Robinson: Spano had her biggest game of the season so far, with quarterback completing 19-of-26 passes for 248 yards and seven touchdowns in a 54-0 win over Durant.
