The Florida High School Baseball season is in full swing and we are set to honor the week's top stars with our Player of the Week polls for areas all around the state.

This week we have 10 athletes nominated this week for the SBLive’s Florida Panhandle High School Baseball Player of the Week award from March 4-9, and we ask you, the fans, to help decide who should indeed be the top athlete selected. Voting will conclude on Sunday, March 17th at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be announced in next week's poll.

Editor’s note: Our corresponding poll is intended to be fun, and we do not set limits on how many times a fan can vote during the competition. This poll is specifically for fans to vote on the players that have been nominated and in no way discredits any other player that may not be mentioned in our poll.

Here are the nominees: 

Hudson Tucker, West Florida Baptist Academy (Milton, FL): Tucker went 2-4 with one double and one RBI versus Pensacola. He also scored one run. He also went 3-for-3 with three runs scored versus Santa Rosa Christian. Lastly, he added one RBI and two doubles in the win over Santa Rosa.

Zac Flitcraft, CF/RHP, Bozeman: Flitcraft helped guide the Bucks to two victories last week. The sophomore went 3-8, with four RBIs and two home runs. He also scored three runs over these two games.

Parker Willis, Marianna: Willis was 2-3 with one double, one home run, two RBIs and scored one run himself in Marianna’s victory over Chipley last Tuesday.

Payton Holland, Central: The junior recorded two crucial hits in two games last week including three RBIs in their win over Walton.

Quincy Wilson, Central: Holland’s teammate also had a big week with four hits in five at bats. Wilson also scored four runs, drove in three more, hit two doubles and stole one base. The offensive output from Holland and Wilson will play a pivotal role in Central’s success this season.

Brock Clayton, C/OF, Pensacola Catholic: Clayton’s offensive output was a big reason why Pensacola Catholic was able to outscore their opponents 25-5 in their two wins last week. Clayton was 6-7 with six RBIs, one double, one triple and one home run in their two wins. He also scored two runs in these wins. Lastly, Clayton was able to get two more hits in their loss to Marist.

Chris Rembert, 2B/INF, Pensacola Catholic: The senior hit a remarkable 9-12 in three games last week which were highlighted by his three home runs. Rembert also scored seven times and recorded eight RBIs last week.

Jimmy Meeks, 1B/RHP/C, North Florida Christian: Meeks went 3-7 with one home run in their two games. The sophomore also had two extra base hits with three RBIs and one run scored last week.

Ryan Laymon, RHP/OF, Arnold: Laymon pitched six out of seven innings and allowed only one hit in Arnold’s 6-2 win over Bay. The senior faced 21 batters and struck out seven of them while allowing only two walks.

Caleb Thomas, P/3B/OF, FSUHS: Thomas went 5-10 with two doubles and five RBIs in three games for the Seminoles. He also pitched 6.1 and struck out six batters in their victory over Madison County.
