Here are the nominees:

Reed Backstrom, Port Charlotte: Finished with three hits, three runs and three RBIs, plus earned a pitching victory in relief, in two wins.

Jason Bello, Bishop Verot: Went 3-for-4 with three RBIs as the Vikings beat Harmony to remain undefeated (9-0).

Gabe Espinosa, Seacrest: Had five RBIs and scored three runs from the plate and struck out nine batters on the mound in a win over Lely.

Hogan Gibbs, Evangelical Christian: Scored five runs combined in back-to-back wins over Mariner and Bonita Springs.

Evan Goeller, Estero: Had six hits in six at-bats to go with four runs and two RBIs in two victories last week.

Aidyn Jones, Gateway Charter: Struck out eight batters in four innings and also scored two runs in a win over Village School.

Brendan Murphy, Naples: Threw a five-inning no-hitter in which he struck out 12 batters in a victory against Dr. Phillips.

Alan Overmyer, Barron Collier: Pounded out seven hits, including four doubles, seven RBIs and won a game on the mound in three straight wins.

Wilson Shaw, Lemon Bay: Struck out five and allowed just two hits in a shutout victory against Charlotte.

Jakob Wagner, North Fort Myers: Slammed two home runs and scored four times in a win over Cape Coral.
