THREE TO SEE

Gunnar Gray, quarterback

The county’s leading passer in 2018 begins his senior season primed to move up the San Diego record books in career yards, completions, and touchdown passes.

Skip Waltower, wide receiver

Transfers in from Grossmont for his senior season where he averaged 15.7 yards per catch and had two touchdown receptions a year ago.

Andrew Dorvillier, defensive lineman

With 50 tackles and 4 sacks last season, he’ll be relied on to lead an inexperienced defense.

OUTLOOK

Having a quarterback with the talent and experience of Gray, University City’s offense should continue their successful ways in 2019.

The Centurions don’t return any running backs from last season and will need someone to step up to complement Gray’s aerial attack.

University City went winless in the Eastern League in 2018 but with several questions marks attached to every team, that should change this season.
