OUTLOOK

Diamond Ranch is ranked No. 10 in the San Gabriel Valley Tribune’s football rankings. There are high expectations this season even with the departure of wide receiver Cristian Dixon to Mater Dei.

Cade Miller will consistently throw to DJ Shanks and the Burns brothers will make plays too. The Panthers open the season on Thursday, August 22 against Bishop Amat. They’re big-time underdogs, but a competitive game would show the rest of Division 5 that Diamond Ranch must be taken seriously.
