Ennis (Texas) wideout Gracen Harris commits to Oklahoma

The four-star class of 2025 prospect intends to play football and baseball for the Sooners

Gracen Harris, a four-star sophomore wide receiver from Ennis (Texas), announced his commitment to Oklahoma on Monday.

The 5-foot-10, 170-pound Harris chose the Sooners over offers from Baylor, Florida State, Mississippi State, TCU and Texas Tech, among others. He is the nation’s No. 188 overall recruit in the 247Sports composite rankings for the class of 2025 and the No. 25 overall wide receiver. Harris also intends to play baseball for the Sooners like current Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray, who was a two-sport star in Norman.

In his two seasons with Ennis, Harris has caught 144 passes for 2,255 yards and 18 touchdowns. He was a first-team all-district selection at inside receiver as a sophomore. Ennis went 6-6 overall last fall, losing to Melissa in the playoffs.

Harris is the second player to join Oklahoma’s class of 2025. Fellow Texan Kevin Sperry, a four-star quarterback out of Rock Hill (Texas), committed to the Sooners in March. Perry checks in at No. 256 in the 247Sports composite rankings and is rated the 18th-best quarterback in the country.
