THREE TO SEE
QB/OLB Ethan Lindstrom, 5-11, 165, Sr.
Steps in at quarterback after playing a little backup last season. Gives Naselle a dual-threat capability it did not have last season, like having an extra running back in the backfield.

RB/LB Jimmy Strange 5-9, 170, Jr.
Played half at running back, half offensive line last year as a sophomore. The all-state linebacker is hard-nosed and has a well-rounded game.
WR/DB Joey Strange 5-6, 130 Soph.
Second on the team in sacks last year as a freshman. He practiced with linebackers, saw more time at defensive end, but is taking his tackling prowess to defensive back this season.
OUTLOOK
The Comets were a pass-heavy team with a trio of downfield threats, but this year, expect them to run the ball more. The dynamic receiving corps of last season is no more, as tight end Jacob Eaton and receiver Josh Townsend graduated and Ethan Lindstrom moves over to quarterback, replacing pocket passer Cole Dorman. But the Comets return running back and all-state linebacker Jimmy Strange, and with Lindstrom under center, the team will have a quarterback that can make plays on his feet, and a running back corps coach Jeff Eaton says is loaded. The question is, will a new-look Naselle have enough to get back to the 1B state semifinals?
