OUTLOOK
By all accounts, this is the season this experienced, “farm-strong” group should be making a run for its first state title since 1986.
And they have a core group of three- and four-year starters in Ashton Haight (four years), the league’s most punishing 30-carry-per-game rusher; Lucas Kreger (three), a speedy dual threat; Alex Frazier (three), arguably the best two-way 2B lineman in Southwest Washington; and Hazen Inman (three) and Cade Lawrence (three).
If a largely-underclassmen offensive line develops quickly, the Loggers are a real championship threat in the state’s toughest district. They have not advanced to the state quarterfinals since they last won the 2B crown.
