Corona Centennial is No. 3 once again. After Mater Dei and St. John Bosco, there isn’t a better team in Southern California.

Once again head coach Matt Logan has the Huskies competing with (and oftentimes beating) some of the top private school programs in the region.

Carter Freedland and Ala Mikaele will split time under center. They aren’t national recruits, but they’re solid.

Here’s coach Logan’s breakdown of his 2019 team:

Strength: Defense. Our ILBs have a lot of experience. We're returning 2 starters (Simon Hall and Josaiah Tanielu) and have a lot of depth. Our DL is led by Korey Foreman and other good players. Our DBs are led by 2 returning starters (Isaiah Young and Charles Sims) and young depth. Our WRs have 3 returning starters (Gary Bryant, Brandon Alvarez and Aaron Smith).

Weakness: Kicker and punter. We're inexperienced at DL, OLB, & RB.

Goals: To win a CIF championship.
