OUTLOOK
Sometimes when son (Cameron) takes over the reins from dad (former longtime coach John Robak), things can get sideways.
But the younger Robak, a former quarterback at Stadium, has injected new energy into this untapped program.
McQueen is quickly establishing himself as one of the quick risers in the state, and will be all over the field for the Sentinels on offense as their top big-play tailback.
Hayes isn't far behind in talent, and like McQueen, is a natural leader. The question is -- who will get them the football?
Right now, Spanaway Lake has three quarterbacks still in the mix for the starting job -- senior Kain Montero, junior Braden Robinson and ninth grader James Dempsey, who appears to be the future at the position with his talent and acumen.
