OUTLOOK

Oak Harbor had a great run in 2018, earning a second place finish in their division with a 7-3 overall record.

First-year head coach Marcus Hughes inherits a young team comprised primarily of juniors who will have to adapt to new playbooks on both sides of the ball.

The offense should be able to score a lot of points, with their backfield duo of Leckelt and Mitten highlighting their efforts.

Defensively, the Wildcats return seven starters to play under defensive coordinator Tony Maggio’s multiple-scheme setup, and will hope to remain as one of the best defenses in the league.

“Expect [them] to compete and play hard every game,” Hughes said.
