Bishop Blanchet made the postseason in Dominic Salle’s first season as head coach. Can the Braves make another run?

To do so, they must replace the production of 12 graduated all-league selection and all but six starters. But what the Rebels lack in returning starters, they have in role players.

Quarterback Alex Johnson, who received Metro League honorable mention honors as a junior, returns. The 6-4, 200-pound arm will have wideouts Andrew Hollomon and Dylan Lee outside, and Luke Gardner and Milo Bouchard to hand the ball to in the Braves’ split back offense.

Will they possess enough to secure the third spot in the most competitive league in the state again behind nationally ranked Eastside Catholic and last year’s 3A runner-up O’Dea?

It's a tall task. They will have to get past a strong Rainier Beach team, a re-tooled Seattle Prep and the playmakers at Garfield.
