Following Bryce Young's commitment flip from USC to Alabama, all of a sudden the Trojans were back in the quarterback market. Just a day later, they've replaced Young with Jake Garcia, Narbonne High School's junior QB. Garcia announced his commitment to USC on Twitter Monday evening.

Garcia is a grade below Young, but that shouldn't really matter to USC in the long term. All three quarterbacks who have played for the Trojans in 2019 have at least one more year of eligibility remaining, with JT Daniels and Kedon Slovis each having three. It's unlikely a true freshman would have worked his way atop the depth chart at quarterback in 2020.

Garcia will finish out this year at Narbonne and then play his senior season in 2020 before becoming a Trojan.

So far this season, Garcia has thrown for 2,130 yards and 15 touchdowns. Narbonne is 4-1 and ranked No. 10 in Scorebook Live's latest statewide Top 25.
