One week after Crenshaw knocked off second-seeded San Fernando, Birmingham stunned top-seeded San Pedro 28-25 in the City Section football semifinals Friday night. Birmingham will play third-seeded Banning in the championship game.
In the Division I semifinals, fourth-seeded El Camino Real knocked off top-seeded Eagle Rock 37-28, while second-seeded Reseda edged third-seeded Venice 42-41.
