The 2019 CIF Southern Section football playoffs wrapped up this weekend with championship games across 13 of 14 divisions. (The Division 12 championship was awarded to El Monte last week after Adelanto and Orange Vista were both disqualified for a bench-clearing fight in the semifinals.)
In Saturday night's Division 1 title game showdown, St. John Bosco rallied for an epic 39-34 victory over Mater Dei.
