Lindsey Baxter, Baker girls cross country: The freshman recorded a 19:36.32 to finish in first place at the Mobile County Championships.

Brendon Byrd, Spanish Fort football: Byrd, a sophomore, passed for 146 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 48 yards and a score to lead the Toros to a 28-21 win over McGill-Toolen.

Caroline Chastang, Bayside Academy volleyball: The junior had six kills, five aces and 12 digs in the 5A South Regional championship match to help lead the Admirals to a 3-0 win over Satsuma.

Markel Cheeseboro, Clarke County football: Cheeseboro turned five carries into 191 yards and two touchdowns in the Bulldogs’ 40-8 win over Satsuma.

Mac Conwell, St. Paul’s Episcopal boys cross country: The sophomore won at the Mobile County Championships with a time of 16:24.78.

Kial Cottingham, Montevallo football: Cottingham pulled down three interceptions in the Bulldogs’ 27-20 win over Dallas County. He caught two touchdown passes on offense.

Quincy Crittendon, Austin football: The Black Bears quarterback was 16 of 24 for 228 yards and three touchdowns in a 49-7 victory against Bob Jones.

Kamble Frenette, Spanish Fort volleyball: The senior had 20 kills and 20 digs in a 3-1 win over John Carroll Catholic in the championship match of the 6A South Regional. In the semifinal, she had 15 kills and 15 digs to help the Toros beat St. Paul’s Episcopal.

Javonte Graves-Billips, St. Paul’s Episcopal football: Graves-Billips totaled 223 yards — 168 rushing, 55 receiving — in the Saints’ 29-0 shutout of LeFlore.

Eric Handley, Fairfield High Preparatory School football: The freshman quarterback accounted for five touchdowns — four passing, one rushing — in the Tigers’ 47-0 win over Cordova. He completed 14 of 24 passes for 182 yards.

Ridge Harrison, Hatton football: The senior scored on the opening kickoff and added a 70-yard touchdown catch in the Hornets' playoff-clinching 56-6 win over Sheffield.

Jarius Houston, Chickasaw football: The sophomore running back rushed for 264 yards and three touchdowns in the Chieftains’ 40-24 win over Excel.

Kamren Ivory, Ramsay football: Ivory passed for 271 yards and fired three of his four touchdown passes in the second half as the Rams came from behind to defeat Pleasant Grove, 33-26.

Cooper Kelley, Spain Park football: Kelley’s third touchdown catch of the night was the game-winner in the final minute as the Jaguars rallied for a 35-34 victory against Tuscaloosa County.

Demarcus Lacey, Pleasant Grove football: Lacey did a little of everything in the Spartans’ 33-26 loss to Ramsay. He had a 91-yard kickoff-return touchdown to start the game, rushed 14 times for 74 yards and a score, and racked up 87 yards on eight catches.

Makenna Long, Long volleyball: The junior captain totaled 124 assists in three matches to help the Rebels win the 2A South Regional championship.

Jamal Miles, Pelham football: The sophomore defensive back recorded three interceptions in the Panthers’ 41-7 win against Chilton County.

Jake Moore, White Plains boys cross country: The senior took first place at the Calhoun County Championship with a time of 17:08.32.

Luke Reebals, Briarwood Christian football: The Lions junior rushed for 180 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries and added 19 yards on four receptions in a 28-6 win over Homewood.

Trinity Roberts, Pleasant Valley girls cross country: The senior ran a 21:09.03 at the Calhoun County Championship to secure the first-place medal.

Avery Seaton, Madison Academy football: Seaton was an efficient 10 of 13 for 200 yards and five touchdowns in the Mustangs’ 41-13 rout of St. John Paul II. The senior added 91 rushing yards on four attempts.

Case Watson, Madison County football: The junior had two touchdown catches and two interceptions as the Tigers edged Westminster Christian, 31-29.
