Georgia's top high school girls track and field athletes: Meet the state’s best jumpers

Who are the top jumpers in Georgia high school girls track and field this season?

Over the past few weeks, we've been taking a look at some of the top track and field athletes in Georgia.

We started with the top sprinters in the boys division, then focused on girls sprinters, followed by the best distance runners in the boys division and girls division.

Next up were the best boys throwers, followed by the best girls throwers. Last week we featured the top jumpers in the boys division, and now it's the girls' turn..

Note: We'll also be posting lists of the state's top hurdlers this week. Many athletes excel in multiple events, but we won't do write-ups on the same athlete on multiple lists.

Liv Bollenbacher, Cambridge

Bollenbacher has come out strong in her senior season. She has the best pole vault in the state at 12’9 and Cambridge’s record.

Olivia Bollenbacher, Cambridge

Olivia makes a dynamic duo with her sister at Cambridge. She holds the second-place spot on Cambridge’s all-time list for pole vault with a PR of 12’4.

Maggie Byrd, Savannah Christian

Byrd is tied for third among all girls high jumpers at 5’6, and she is looking to hit 5’8 to increase her already-set school record.

Amaya Cooper, Westlake

Cooper excels in the long and high jump. Her long jump PR is 19’3, and her top high jump is 5’4.

Kelsey Chambers, Westminster (Atlanta)

Chambers is the reigning 3A state champion in the triple jump with her PR being 38’4.

Hannah Eaddy, Westminster (Augusta)

Eaddy is tied for the third best long jump at 19’ 6, she continues to increase her record at Westminster Prep.

Alisa Gordon, Alexander

The superstar sophomore has the best triple jump in the state at 39’ 1.75 and holds Alexander’s triple jump record.

Skyler Harrelson, Cherokee

Harrelson came in second in last year’s 7A state championships with a long jump of 18’4.5, and she has already bumped her PR up this year to 19’2.5.

Kenzie Henderson, Oglethorpe County

Henderson is a standout freshman. Her recent high jump of 5’10 set her new PR, shattered Oglethorpe’s record and placed her first in the state and tied for fifth in the nation.

My’Asia Howard, Lowndes

Howard is part of Lowndes' tandem of terrific triple jumpers. The sophomore's PR of 37’10.25 has her at seventh among all triple jumpers in the state.

Riley Jones, South Forsyth

Jones’ recent PR in the pole vault of 12’3 shattered South Forsyth’s previous record of 7’6.

Layla Keadle, North Springs

Keadle's pole vault of 11’11 gives the sophomore North Springs’ record and is good for sixth best in the state.

Ryan Lewis, Sandy Creek

Lewis is doing big things in her junior season with her recent PR of 39’.05 in the triple jump.

Kaylan McConnehead, Lowndes

McConnehead is Lowndes' other star triple jumper. Her recent PR of 37’9 is good enough for the ninth this season.

Danah Nembhard, Dacula

The sophomore standout leads all sophomores in the state in the high jump with her PR of 5’8. She is 15th in the nation and holds Dacula’s record by a wide margin.

Chloe Perryman, Brookwood

Perryman has the third-best long jump in the state with her PR of 19’6, which is also a Brookwood record.

Kayla Pinkard, Carrollton

Pinkard is turning heads in her senior season. She has the second-longest triple jump in the state this season of 39’1 with potential to improve, as her PR is 41’ 6.

Mary Rozier, Eagle's Landing

Rozier recently cleared Eagle's Landing’s long jump record of 18’1.25 that had been standing since 2011. The sophomore has the 10th best long jump this season in the state.

Aiya Webb, Buford

Webb is tied for sixth in the state in the high jump with a PR of 5’4, and she is only a freshman.

Jaci Wright, Maynard H. Jackson

Wright is one of three sophomores who have a top 10 triple jump. Her PR of 38’ gives her the sixth-best jump this season.
