Here are the top performances that caught our attention across the state in Week 7 of the Georgia high school football season

Jaylen Poe, North Paulding

Poe ran the ball 21 times for 161 yards and three touchdowns in what was an entertaining shoot-out versus Walton.

Ousmane Kromah, Lee County

The sophomore running back had his best game of the season and came in perfect timing to help knock-off previous undefeated Houston County. Kromah ran the ball 22 times for 275 yards and five touchdowns.

Jayden Mason, Calvary Christian

Mason had a season a season low 21 carries but still had 300 rushing yards and six touchdowns to help his team cruise to a 62-14 win over Community Christian.

Cam Vaughn, Temple

Vaughn had four passing touchdowns and 123 yards on the ground with a rushing touchdown in route to a 56-0 victory over Midtown.

Khyair Spain, Parkview

Parkview rebounded from its first loss on the season and a big reason was Spain’s ground attack. He had 183 yards with a touchdown in Parkview’s win over South Gwinnett.

Keyjuan Brown, South Atlanta

Brown only ran the ball seven times and had 194 yards and two touchdowns. He averaged 28 yards per carry in the win over KIPP.

Nick Woodford, Northeast

Woodford’s hot streak continued as he went for 245 yards on the ground and four total touchdowns. This was Woodford’s fourth straight game with over 230 yards rushing.

Solomon Leslie, Loganville

Leslie literally carried Loganville to a victory over Eastside. He had 26 carries for 139 yards and two touchdowns in a game that Loganville won 13-10.

Andrew Shockley, Banks County

Shockley showed off his dual-threat capabilities from the backfield. He ran the ball 18 times for 153 yards and had 75 receiving yards with three touchdowns.

Jacob Davis, Discovery

Davis had his fifth straight game of 20 plus carries and took advantage of the opportunities. He ended with 197 yards and three touchdowns.

Jaden Gibson, Rabun County

Gibson has had over seven catches every game this season and had nine for 178 and two touchdowns versus Fellowship Christian.

Jack Polhill, Trinity Christian

Polhill had his sixth game with over 100 yards receiving, as he went for 104 yards and two touchdowns in the win over Fullington Academy.

Tyler Floyd, Thomas County Central

Floyd was the leading receiver for the Yellow Jackets. He hauled in six receptions for 100 yards and two scores to power the Yellow Jackets to their sixth straight victory.

Andre Craig, Meadowcreek

Craig had his best game of the season versus North Gwinnett. He hauled in nine catches for 150 yards and two touchdowns.

Mike Matthews, Parkview

Matthews was digging the deep ball in the win over South Gwinnett. He only had three catches but ended with 150 yards on the game.

Tate Morris, McIntosh

Morris was his normal dual-threat dynamic self in the 35-34 win over Heard County. He threw for 295 yards and rushed for 91 and ended the game with three touchdowns.

Jack Cendoya, Mount Pisgah

Cendoya put up some insane stats in the win versus Mt. Zion. He completed 82% of his passes for 324 yards and six touchdowns. That’s not all, on the ground he had 12 carries 131 yards and a touchdown.

Owen Brooker, Northwest Whitfield

Brooker did all he couldd versus Sonoraville. He had 238 yards and a touchdown through the air but did most of his damage on the ground with 174 yards and two touchdowns.

Jim Coleman, Trinity Christian

Coleman balled out in the win versus Fullington Academy. He threw for 203 yards and three touchdowns and had just as much damage on the ground with 151 yards and three more touchdowns.

Julian Lewis, Carrollton

Lewis now leads all passers in the state of Georgia after his 283 yard four touchdown performance in the win over Hillgrove.
