Congratulations to McIntosh football player Tate Morris, the winner of SBLive Georgia's Athlete of Week award as voted by Georgia high school sports fans.

Morris captured more than 10,000 votes for 52.97% of our state-wide voting after throwing for 295 yards and rushing for 91 more and producing three touchdowns in his team's 35-34 win over Heard County.

Here are all the other athletes that were nominated for Sept. 25-Oct. 1:

Madison Jenkins, Peachtree Ridge Softball

Jenkins hit a monster three-run homer in a 4-1 win over region leader North Gwinnett.

Ousmane Kromah, Lee County Football

The sophomore running back had his best game of the season and came in perfect timing to help knock-off previous undefeated Houston County. Kromah ran the ball 22 times for 275 yards and five touchdowns.

Taylor Anderson, Archer Softball

Anderson went 3-4 in the win over Winder-Barrow and in another matchup versus South Gwinnett she went 2-3 with three runs and three stolen bases.

Jayden Mason, Calvary Christian Football

Mason had a season a season low 21 carries but still had 300 rushing yards and six touchdowns to help his team cruise to a 62-14 win over Community Christian.

Alaina Giordano, Norcross Volleyball

Giordano had 18 digs and four aces in a win over Apalachee. She also had 18 digs in wins over Discovery and North Gwinnett.

Nick Woodford, Northeast Football

Woodford’s hot streak continued as he went for 245 yards on the ground and four total touchdowns. This was Woodford’s fourth straight game with over 230 yards rushing.

Jayda Braith, Cambridge Softball

Braith was amazing in a win, as she threw her fourth no-hitter of the season.

Jaden Gibson, Rabun County Football

Gibson has had over seven catches every game this season and had nine for 178 and two touchdowns versus Fellowship Christian.

Caroline Morgan, Pepperell Softball

Morgan had a dominant outing in the circle, she struck out 11 batters and only allowed one hit.

Andre Craig, Meadowcreek Football

Craig had his best game of the season versus North Gwinnett. He hauled in nine catches for 150 yards and two touchdowns.

Jack Cendoya, Mount Pigsah Football

Cendoya put up some insane stats in the win versus Mt. Zion. He completed 82% of his passes for 324 yards and six touchdowns. That’s not all, on the ground he had 12 carries 131 yards and a touchdown.

Owen Brooker, Northwest Whitfield Football

Brooker did all he couldd versus Sonoraville. He had 238 yards and a touchdown through the air but did most of his damage on the ground with 174 yards and two touchdowns.

Jim Coleman, Trinity Christian Football

Coleman balled out in the win versus Fullington Academy. He threw for 203 yards and three touchdowns and had just as much damage on the ground with 151 yards and three more touchdowns.
