Packers quarterback Neko Fann was terrific, too and accounted for all five of their touchdowns on the night. The junior tossed four touchdowns through the air and rushed for one.

Fann’s lone rushing touchdown set the tone early for the Packers. On their very first play from scrimmage, Fann called his own number on a read-option play and raced down the left sidelines before splitting two Lowndes defenders on his way to a 78-yard touchdown run.

The Packers converted a 2-point conversion on a jump pass and led the Vikings 8-0.

On their next offensive possession, Fann hooked up with Carr for the first of three scores in the first half. Carr ran a quick stop-and-go route down the right sidelines before Fann dropped a pass into his hands as he was crossing the end zone.

Carrr’s touchdown gave the host Packers a 15-0 lead at the end of the first quarter.

After a nice stop on defense, Fann and the Packers got the ball back deep inside their own territory and wasted no time scoring agan. Fann dropped back and delivered a perfect ball to Carr at the 27 and the junior did the rest, racing down the middle of the field and eluding several Vikings defenders on his way to an 85-yard touchdown.

The score gave the Packers a 22-0 lead with 9:04 left in the second quarter.

After making a big stop on defense thanks to a big tackle for loss by Colquitt senior Rahiemm McBride, Fann and the Packers got the ball back with great field position and the highlight plays continued.

For the third time in the first half, Fann found Carr streaking down the sidelines and placed a perfectly thrown ball into the juniors hands for a 40-yard score. Carr’s third touchdown reception of the game gave the hosts a 29-0 lead.

The Vikings finally got on the board late in the second quarter after a good mix of runs and passes led to a Marvis Parrish 8-yard touchdown pass.

The sophomore quarterback used his legs to pick up several first downs on the drive before using his arm to score their first points of the game and cut the Packers lead to 29-7 with 2:23 left in the second quarter.

Leading 29-7 heading into the third quarter, the Packers defense forced a turnover to give their offense a short field.

Qua McCoy stripped Lowndes running back Jacarre Fleming and linebacker Daveon Hunt was there to scoop up the loose ball at the Vikings 21-yard line.

That led to Fann’s fourth and final touchdown pass of the game after the junior stepped up in the pocket and delivered a great ball into the hands of senior Will Robbins to extend the Packers lead to 36-7.

The Packers tacked on a short 26-yard field goal later in the third quarter to lead 39-6 and got another field goal, this time from 34 yards out to grab a 42-7 lead with 6:47 left in the game.

Lowndes scored on a long run by Fleming to cut Colquitt’s lead to 42-14 late in the fourth quarter to end the scoring on the night for both teams.
