ATLANTA, GEORGIA – Georgia is filled with dozens of high profile high school basketball players who will soon be playing in the Division 1 ranks and several which will eventually make it all the way to the NBA.

But, who is the best?

With the state playoffs upon us, we want to know your opinion and you can share it with your vote in our poll. We've compiled a list of 21 top players, across all classifications, who are scheduled to compete GHSA state playoffs.

Regardless of what occurs in the state tournaments, please vote and let us know who is the Top Player, in your opinion. We will leave this poll open into early March, so you can vote long after the final state champion is crowned.

Isaiah Collier, Wheeler

Collier is a 5-star senior recruit at Wheeler that is signed to play at USC. He leads the No. 1 ranked Wildcats and was recently named a 2023 McDonalds All-American.

Stephon Castle, Newton

Castle is a 5-star senior recruit at Newton and is signed to play at Uconn. Castle is the Rams’ leading scorer and was recently named a 2023 McDonalds All-American.

Arrinten Page, Wheeler

Page is a 5-star senior recruit at Wheeler that is also signed to play at USC. Page is the biggest weapon that the Wildcats have in the paint.

Jelani Hamilton, Wheeler

Hamilton is a 3-star senior recruit at Wheeler and is committed to Iowa State. Hamilton joins Isaiah Collier in the backcourt which gives them a great 1-2 punch.

Jakai Newton, Newton

Newton is a 4-star senior recruit that is signed to play at Indiana. Newton is one of the most physical guards in the country and is also one of the best dunkers that the Class of 2023 has to offer.

Lamariyon Jordan, Norcross

Jordan is a 4-star senior recruit that is signed to play at Georgia. Jordan is one of the leaders of the Norcross Blue Devils and has turned in a very good season.

Brandon Rechsteiner, Etowah

Rechsteiner is a 3-star senior recruit that is signed to play at Virginia Tech. Rechsteiner is one of the best shooters in the state and has his Etowah squad playing their best basketball of the season.

Gai Chol, Greenforest

Chol is a 3-star senior recruit that is signed to play at Mississippi State. Standing at 7-foot, Chol has been a dominant force for Greenforest. He’s looking to help lead them to their second straight state championship.

DK Manyiel, Greenforest

Manyiel is a 3-star senior recruit that is signed to play at Georgia State. Like his teammate Gai Chol, Manyiel is a 7-footer that can shoot the ball. The duo makes Greenforest a matchup nightmare.

David Thomas, Eagle’s Landing

Thomas is a 3-star senior recruit that is committed to Mercer. Thomas is one of the best pure scorers in the state of Georgia and is the No. 1 scoring option for Eagle’s Landing.

Jaiun Simon, Pebblebrook

Simon is a 3-star senior recruit that is committed to Dayton. Simon is the leader of Pebblebrook, a team that is definitely in the mix to win the Class 7A state championship.

Airious Bailey, McEachern

Bailey is a 5-star junior recruit that is currently committed to Rutgers. He’s ranked as the sixth-best player for the Class of 2024 and is the best player in the state of Georgia for his class. He’s the current leader of McEachern.

Derrion Reid, Grovetown

Reid a 4-star junior recruit that currently has offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia and more. Standing at 6-foot-7, he is the leader of a Grovetown squad that is looking to win their second straight Class 6A state championship.

Gicarri Harris, Grayson

Harris is a 4-star junior recruit that currently has offers from Purdue, Auburn, Stanford, Arizona State, and more. He’s the No. 1 scoring option at Grayson, who is currently ranked No. 2 in Class 7A.

Peyton Marshall, Kell

Marshall is a 4-star junior recruit that is currently committed to Auburn. Standing at 6-foot-11 and weighing in at 310 pounds, Marshall is one of the biggest recruits for the Class of 2024 and has been a dominant force for the No. 1 ranked Kell Longrhorns in Class 6A this season.

Kyle Greene, Pace Academy

Greene is a 3-star recruit that currently has offers from Georgetown, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Georgia and more. Greene is the leader at Pace Academy and averaged 12 points and 7 assists per game during the regular season.

Chrisitan Anderson, Lovett

Anderson is a 4-star junior recruit that is currently committed to Michigan. Anderson is the leader at Lovett and has been dominant this season. He recently dropped 46 points in win for Lovett.

Micah Smith, Sandy Creek

Smith is a 3-star junior recruit that currently has offers from Auburn, Georgetown, Georgia Tech, Cincinnati and more. Standing at 6-foot-7, Smith is the leader of Sandy Creek, who will have a great chance to make a deep run in the Class 4A state playoffs.

Moses Hipps, McEachern

Hipps is a 3-star junior recruit that currently has offers from Rutgers, Bryant, Fairfield and more. He plays at McEachern and was named to the First Team All-Region squad after a great regular season.

Caleb Wilson, Holy Innocents

Wilson is a 5-star sophomore recruit that currently has offers from Alabama, Cincinnati, Indiana, Georgia and more. Standing at 6-foot-8, Wilson is the leader at Holy Innocents.

J.D. Palm, McEachern

Palm is a 5-star sophomore recruit that currently has offers from Alabama and Alabama State. Standing at 6-foot-9, Palm is starting to get some recognition around the nation as one of the best up-and-coming players. He plays at McEachern alongside Airoous Bailey.
