The top-ranked Trailblazers are 29-0 and continue to sit atop the SBLive Power 25 national high school girls basketball rankings. They will face No. 13 Etiwanda on Saturday for the California (CIF) Southern Section Open Division championship.

SBLIVE POWER 25 NATIONAL GIRLS BASKETBALL RANKINGS

1. Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, California) (29-0 – 1st)

Playoff annihilations of Bishop Montgomery, Ontario Christian, and Sage Hill constitute most dominant run through pool play since CIFSS instituted Open Division pool play (combined 243-98 margin). Next up, Etiwanda.

2. Sidwell Friends (Washington, D.C.) (23-2 – 2nd)

One game stands between Sidwell and an undisputed conference title, but a win is far from a forgone conclusion. The Quakers hit the road Tuesday to face dangerous Georgetown Visitation Prep.

3. St. John Vianney (Holmdel, New Jersey) (28-0 – 3rd)

Even without injured G Zoe Brooks, team blew out St. Rose (83-40) and held off Red Bank Catholic (58-52) to capture fourth consecutive Shore Conference and cap undefeated regular season.

4. Montverde Academy (Montverde, Florida) (24-1 – 4th)

During week off, Eagles found out coach Special Jennings has been nominated for Naismith coach of the year and selected to be a coach at the USA Basketball Nike Hoop Summit.

5. Long Island Lutheran (Brookville, New York) (17-2 – 5th)

Another statement win in books as Crusaders dominate New Jersey powerhouse Immaculate Conception (78-41). They finished up regular season this week with three games in four days..

6. Incarnate Word Academy (Bel-Nor, Missouri) (25-0 – 6th)

Program with nation's longest winning streak hosted "Senior Knight" last week, getting a 74-41 victory over Ursuline Academy. Now, 93 consecutive wins, and IWA is one win away from another undefeated regular season

7. La Jolla Country Day (La Jolla, California) (27-3 – 7th)

Looking like Torreys are going to roll to CIFSDS Open Division title for a second consecutive season. They routed Scripps Ranch in their playoff opener, which saw return of 4-star G Taj Roberts from injury.

8. The Webb School (Bellbuckle, Tennessee) (29-4 – 8th)

District champions again. Feet rolled against Goodpasture Christian, Providence Christian Academy and Middle Tennessee Christian last week to win the title and increase their winning streak to 11 games.

9. Lone Peak (Highland, Utah) (19-3 – 10th)

Finally got a close game from Westlake (55-46) to close the regular season - an opponent of which the Knights previously beaten by 33 points. Now the top seed in Class 6A state playoffs.

10. Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, California) (23-2 – 11th)

Five-star G Morgan Cheli returned in Monarchs' playoff opener, a 93-30 blowout of Crystal Springs Uplands. Now finally healthy for nearly first time all season, their best performances might be on horizon.

11. Bishop McNamara (Forestville, Maryland) (20-5 – 13th)

Completed clean sweep of Washington Catholic with 93-46 rout of OLGC. Team still largely goes under the radar, thanks primarily to having five losses. All of them have come against top-10 teams in the country.

12. Morris Catholic (Denville, New Jersey) (23-3 – 14th)

Held off Montville - another one of New Jersey's top teams - 62-51 on Friday. Mia Pauldo led the way with 26 points, six rebounds, six assists, and six steals on 9-of-14 shooting.

13. Etiwanda (Rancho Cucamonga, California) (29-2 – 15th)

In back-to-back seasons, Etiwanda defeated Mater Dei in final game of Open Division pool play to clinch meeting with No. 1 Sierra Canyon in the CIFSS championship. Big opportunity here to shake things up.

14. Duncanville (Duncanville, Texas) (26-4 – 9th)

Done after forfeit to Skyline a couple of weeks ago as coaching staff was suspended for violation of previous sanctions. Are Pantherettes still top 10 team? Certainly in the conversation.

15. Hoover (Hoover, Alabama) (32-1 – 16th)

After cruising against James Clemons to start state playoffs, Hoover gets a particularly tough quarterfinals draw. It takes on Bob Jones (28-3) - considered by many pundits to be third-best team in Alabama.

16. Sacred Heart (Louisville, Kentucky) (23-3 – 17th)

Still unbeaten against in-state competition, Sacred Heart has to like its chances of advancing to the District 27 title game. In the semifinals it will face Highlands Latin, a team it crushed (86-9) earlier in the season.

17. Centennial (Las Vegas, Nevada) (18-1 – 18th)

After running away with 5A South title last week, Bulldogs are two wins away from yet another state title. They face Reno in Friday semifinals and with a win, will face Bishop Manogue-Coronado winner.

18. Edmond North (Edmond, Oklahoma) (23-0 – 19th)

G Laci Steele having an all-state MVP type season for Huskies, who blew out Edmond Memorial (60-23) and defeated Edmond Santa Fe (68-27). Next up - the postseason.

19. Hazel Green (Hazel Green, Alabama) (33-1 – 20th)

Still yet to be truly tested by any in-state team other than Hoover, which ended the Trojans' state-record winning streak. Hazel Green defeated Mortimer Jordan to advance to the AHSAA 6A state quarterfinals.

20. Paul VI (Haddonfield, New Jersey) (19-2 – 21st)

Finished regular season unbeaten against other New Jersey teams. Hannah Hidalgo posted triple-double while five other Eagles scored in double-figures as team blew out Bishop Eustace Prep on 'Senior Night.'

21. Putnam City West (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) (19-3 – 22nd)

Defeated Midwest City to complete sweep of Big 10 District play. Now the Patriots look to prove themselves as best team in the state with the playoffs about to start.

22. Mater Dei (Santa Ana, California) (28-3 – Bubble)

Top-25 stock got boost with 94-38 victory over Santiago (Corona) - and strong showing against Etiwanda (71-58), which is the only California team to beat the Monarchs. Debuting in rankings this week.

23. Clovis West (Fresno, CA) (27-1 – 23rd)

Reached Central District D1 semifinals with convincing win over Caruthers (72-42). Now, the Golden Eagles face Buchanan, which they beat by 28 points in both league meetings.

24. Monterey (Lubbock, Texas) (30-3 – 24th)

The Plainsmen's explosive offense has reached another gear in recent weeks. They're now averaging 79 points per game, and have reached that mark in their past eight games.

25. Mason (Mason, OH) (23-1 – 25th)

Think the reigning state runner-up was for Ohio playoffs to start? After beating Anderson (60-27) to open the postseason, the Comets handled Northwest (67-8) in the next round.
