Photos: Puyallup beats Curtis 2-1 to advance to 4A girls soccer state quarterfinals

Sydney Evans scored the go-ahead goal in the 55th minute and Puyallup held on to beat Curtis 2-1 Wednesday night in the WIAA Class 4A girls soccer state playoffs. Puyallup moves on to the quarterfinals where they will play rival Sumner.

Ally Beavers gave Puyallup a 1-0 lead in the seventh minute with a goal off a long throw-in from Callie Lowney. Curtis tied it at 1-1 in the 20th minute.
