Congratulations to Kimblery junior Reece Garey for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Idaho High School Girls Basketball Player of the Week!

Garey scored 23 points and had 5 assists against 4A Canyon Ridge High School.

Garey received59.72% of the vote, beating out Bonneville's Sydnee Hunt who finished second with 36.76%. Coeur d’Alene's Skylar Burke finished third with 2.96% and Burley’s Amari Whiting finished fourth with 0.28%

Amari Whiting, Burley: The sophomore guard totaled 30 points (her third 30-point game of the year), 13 rebounds and five steals in a win over Twin Falls.

Sydnee Hunt, Bonneville: The senior guard tallied a season-high 29 points, making six 3-pointers, in a victory over Shelley.

Kadance Schilling, Clearwater Valley: The junior guard did it all in a win over Troy – 22 points, 10 rebounds, seven steals and six assists.

Skylar Burke, Coeur d’Alene: Scored 26 points in a blowout win over Lewiston, reports The Coeur d’Alene Press.

Addie Kiefer, Lakeland: Kiefer put up 23 points, seven boards and five assists in a 53-40 win over Moscow, reports The Coeur d’Alene Press.

Talia Brown, Grangeville: Brown scored 20 points in a win over Kendrick, reports The Moscow-Pullman Daily News.

Tara Schlader, Prairie-Cottonwood: Pulled down 17 rebounds and nabbed seven steals in a win over Potlach, reports The Moscow-Pullman Daily News. Oh, and she scored six points.

Claira Osborne, Genesee: Scored 17 points, pulled down 17 boards and logged five steals in a win over Logos (Moscow), reports The Moscow-Pullman Daily News.
