Each week, SBLive Idaho will update its all-classification top-10 high school football rankings.

Here is the Week 12 list – or weekend of the state quarterfinals – compiled by SBLive Idaho correspondent Brandon Walton:

1. RIGBY (9-1)

Last week: Defeated Capital, 41-14.

This week: Travels to No. 4 Meridian in 5A semifinals Friday night.

QB Tiger Adolpho went 13-of-17 for 271 yards and three touchdowns as the Trojans ended the storied career of Todd Simis and reached their third consecutive final four.

2. EAGLE (9-2)

Last week: Defeated Coeur d’Alene, 23-14.

This week: Hosts No. 3 Highland in 5A semifinals Friday night.

ATH Ian Duarte hauled in eight receptions for 168 yards, including a game-sealing 72-yard touchdown catch to help the Mustangs reach first semifinals since 2016.

3. HIGHLAND (9-2)

Last week: Defeated Rocky Mountain, 22-21.

This week: Travels to No. 2 Eagle in 5A semifinals Friday night.

Big-legged PK Ian Hershey booted three field goals, including a state record 58-yarder and the game winner from 45 yards out to send Rams to fourth semifinal in five years.

4. MERIDIAN (8-3)

Last week: Defeated Mountain View, 35-6.

This week: Hosts No. 1 Rigby in 5A semifinals Friday night.

The Warriors got payback from season-opening loss by forcing six turnovers to hand the previous top-ranked Mavericks their worst postseason loss in seven years.

5. MOUNTAIN VIEW (9-1)

Last week: Lost to Meridian, 35-6.

This week: Season over.

The Mavericks failed to win a postseason game for the first time in eight years, but still had undefeated regular season and won first 5A SIC title in program history.

6. ROCKY MOUNTAIN (7-3)

Last week: Lost to Highland, 22-21.

This week: Season over.

The Grizzlies let an 18-point second-half lead slip away and did not advance to the semifinal round for the first time since 2013.

7. HOMEDALE (10-0)

Last week: Defeated South Fremont, 35-10.

This week: Hosts Sugar-Salem in 3A semifinals Saturday afternoon.

Hayden Kincheloe rumbled for 256 yards and four touchdowns to help set stage for Trojans to finally avenge three consecutive state title game losses to Diggers.

8. WEST SIDE (9-0)

Last week: Defeated Grangeville, 48-8.

This week: Hosts Bear Lake in 2A semifinals Friday night.

The Pirates pushed the state’s longest winning streak to 30 games with 339 yards on the ground - nearly half of those were by Cage Brokens (156 yards) - in win over Grangeville.

9. POCATELLO (9-2)

Last week: Defeated Bishop Kelly, 28-17.

This week: Plays Skyline in 4A semifinals Saturday night at Holt Arena.

Thunder erased early 14-0 deficit behind arm of QB Ryan Payne, who threw for 225 yards and three touchdowns to help school punch first ticket to 4A semis in a decade.

10. SANDPOINT (7-2)

Last week: Defeated Shelley, 21-14.

This week: Hosts Blackfoot in 4A semifinals Friday night.

Bulldogs rally back from 14-0 hole, thanks to QB Parker Pettit’s 258 yards of total offense and two touchdowns; Sandpoint back in state semifinals for second consecutive season.
