BOISE - Down to its final outs, Columbia High School started playing the big hits.
And it led the school to its first Class 4A District III baseball championship.
Isaac Antunes' RBI double in the seventh inning tied the game, and the Wildcats broke it open with four runs in extra innings in a 5-1 victory Thursday night over Middleton at Bishop Kelly High School.
Antunes got the winning string of scoring going in the eighth inning with his run-scoring single to break the 1-1 tie.
Isaiah Anzaldua had given Middleton a 1-0 lead in the sixth inning when he scored off an error.
Middleton had its 19-game winning streak snapped.
