Idaho high school football: Top stars, best performances in Week 7 of 2022 fall season

Nampa’s Daniel Carrillo goes for 300-plus yards on the ground while Wilder’s Julian Neri racks up nine total touchdowns

Here’s a quick look at some of the top stars and best individual performances from the Week 7 slate of games across the "Gem State."

Daniel Carrillo, Nampa RB: Piled up 308 yards and a pair of touchdowns, including an 89-yard run that was the game-winner in a 34-26 win over Skyview.

Ian Duarte, Eagle WR: Only touched the ball eight times, but still racked up 174 all-purpose yards and a pair of touchdowns in a 28-19 win over Mountain View to clinch the 5A Southern Idaho Conference River Division title.

Tyson Fox, Vallivue RB: Had more productivity than the entire Caldwell offense with 210 yards and four touchdowns in a 58-3 rout.

Drew Hymas, Highland QB: Completed 75% of his passes, including a 26-yard touchdown and the game-winning two-point conversion, while running for 127 yards and a pair of scores in a 43-42 come-from-behind win over then No. 3 Rigby.

Bryce Johnson, South Fremont QB: Totaled 265 yards, including 151 yards on the ground, and three total touchdowns in a 28-26 win over Teton.

Isaac McKeown, Post Falls QB: Tallied 334 yards and three touchdowns through the air in a 42-35 win over then-No. 7 Lewiston.

Julian Neri, Wilder QB: Neri had not one, not two, not three, but nine touchdowns, including five scores through the air and 141 yards on the ground in a 88-51 shootout win over Greenleaf Friends.

Parker Pettit, Sandpoint QB: Utilized his arm (118 passing yards, two TDs) and his legs (147 rushing yards, two TDs) in a 38-13 win over then-No. 5 Lakeland.

Parker Rushton, Borah RB: Galloped for 239 yards and four touchdowns in a 29-14 win against Boise.

Kenyon Sadiq, Skyline WR: Caught five passes for 118 yards - his fourth 100-yard receiving performance - but had the game-changing interception and winning touchdown run in the fourth quarter in the Grizzlies' win over Blackfoot.

Gabe Shaffer, Melba RB: Racked up 243 yards and a couple of touchdowns in a 58-22 win over Marsing.

Tate Whitaker, Raft River QB: Threw for 231 yards and three touchdowns, ran for 52 and a score, recorded 10 tackles and had an interception in a 26-12 win over Murtaugh.

Carter Woodland, Notus RB: Only needed eight carries to go for 156 yards and four touchdowns to go along with an 80-yard punt return for a score in a 74-14 win over Idaho City.
