IDAHO NOMINEES
Eliza Anderson, Kimberly volleyball: Tallied 46 kills, 53 digs and nine aces in the Class 3A Tourney to help the Bulldogs walk away with the first title in school history.
Jafeth Bendele, Minico football: Rushed for 146 yards and two scores, including the game-winner on a 4-yard run in overtime to secure a 20-14 first-round win over Vallivue.
Allie Black, Raft River girls cross country: Won back-to-back Class 1A state titles with a time of 18 minutes and 34.30 seconds to lead the Trojans to a team title as well.
Alex Bower, Skyview volleyball: BYU commit tallied 51 assists, 14 digs and six kills to help the Hawks down Columbia in four sets in the Class 4A championship game for a three-peat and their fifth title in seven years.
Luke Flowers, Rigby football: Went 24-of-29 for 312 yards and five touchdowns, while scoring a sixth on the ground in a 49-14 opening-round win over Owyhee.
Max Frank, Sandpoint football: Hauled in a pair of catches for 63 yards and a touchdown, but it was really on the ground where he shined with 160 yards and four scores on just 12 carries in a 63-35 first-round win over Skyview.
Landon Heemeyer, Rocky Mountain boys cross country: Recorded the fastest time in the state at 14:38.8 en route to capturing the Class 5A state title.
Celo Henslee, Bonners Ferry football: Ran for three touchdowns in a 21-7 opening-round win over Wood River to give the Badgers their first playoff win since 2003.
Cole Holman, Middleton football: Rushed for 93 yards, including the game-winner on a 3-yard gallop, while catching a 23-yard touchdown pass earlier to help the Vikings secure their first-ever Class 5A playoff win in a 14-7 victory over Lewiston.
Kinley Kerbs, Madison volleyball: Racked up 165 assists, 15 aces and six blocks at the state tournament to help the Bobcats reclaim the Class 5A state title for the first time since 2018.
Javonte King, Blackfoot football: Recent Montana State commit caught seven passes for 106 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-17 first-round win over Hillcrest.
Jack Nelson, Teton football: Completed 70% of his passes for 295 yards and four touchdowns in a 56-13 opening-round win over Marsh Valley.
Annastasia Peters, Post Falls girls cross country: Capped an unbeaten senior season by claiming the Class 5A state title with a time of 16 minutes, 56.07 seconds to also become the first girls runner in school history ever to win a championship.
Cody Power, Dietrich football: Totaled 400 yards and five touchdowns, including 212 yards and three scores through the air, in a 54-20 first-round win over Horseshoe Bend.
Hank Richardson, North Fremont football: Returned a fumble 35 yards to the house, had a rushing touchdown, a receiving touchdown and bagged eight tackles and a sack on defense in a 60-30 win over Soda Springs.
Nelah Roberts, Skyline girls cross country: Roberts is now one title away from becoming the first girls runner in state history to four-peat with another championship at 4A in 17:31.72.
Collin Rogers, Mountain View football: A former seldom-used role player, Rogers came up big when it mattered most with nine grabs for 130 yards and a score in a 44-0 payback win over Nampa in the opening round of 5A playoffs.
Ian Stockett, Victory Charter boys cross country: Three-peated at 1A with a time of 15:10:49 to lead the Vipers to a third consecutive team championship as well.
Case Van Leeuwen, Lighthouse Christian football: In relief of injured starter Justice Schrader, Van Leeuwen came off the bench to throw for 174 yards and two touchdowns, while running for another 143 yards and three scores in a 34-26 win over Murtaugh.
Parker Weatherly, Rocky Mountain football: Had a 29-yard scoop-and-score and a pair of sacks in a 51-10 first-round win over Kuna.
Annelie Wilson, Horseshoe Bend volleyball: Posted a double-double of 22 kills and 22 digs in a sweep over Rockland in the Class 1A Division II final.
Keylee Wilson, Melba volleyball: Netted 24 kills, 14 digs and three aces in a four-set win over reigning two-time 2A champ West Side to help deliver the Mustangs’ first title in program history.
