Congratulations to Melba guard Kendall Clark for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Idaho High School Athletes of the Week for Feb. 6-Feb. 1!

When it comes to the postseason, Melba knows how to handle its business. Clark scored 20 points, including nine in the final quarter, to go along with seven rebounds, three assists and two steals as the Mustangs won their fifth district championship in the past seven years.

Williams collected 74.3% of the overall vote and finished ahead of Lapwai boys basketball player Kase Wynott, who had 8.6% of the vote.

Vander Brown, Lakeside boys basketball: Put up 24 points in a 78-36 win over Genesis Prep to lead the Knights to their fourth consecutive league title.

Aspen Caldwell, Thunder Ridge girls basketball: Netted 27 points in a 76-43 win-or-go home state tournament play-in game over Mountain View.

Isaac Davis, Hillcrest boys basketball: Joined the 1,000-career-point club as only a junior with 20 points in a 86-50 rout of Shelley.

Kennasyn Garza, Pocatello girls basketball: Bagged 14 points to help the Thunder end a 9-year postseason drought in a 48-28 win over Century in the district title game.

Kennedy Gillette, Sugar-Salem girls basketball: Finished with 29 points, including the game winning free throws with nine seconds to go to eclipse 1,000 career points in a 48-46 win over Teton in the district championship.

Avery Howell, Boise girls basketball: Recorded her 15th double-double of the season with 24 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Brave to back-to-back district titles in a 49-47 win over Rocky Mountain.

Kade Johnson, Liberty Charter boys basketball: Tallied 22 points on 8-of-9 shooting, including going perfect from beyond the arc (3-for-3) in a 64-41 win over Greenleaf.

Javonte King, Blackfoot boys basketball: Racked up a season-high 42 points in a come-from-behind overtime win over Skyline.

Marlee Pieper, Blackfoot girls basketball: Drained six 3-pointers to tie for a game-high 25 points to lead the Broncos in a 58-55 win over No. 1 Shelley for back-to-back district titles.

Kase Wynott, Lapwai boys basketball: Nearly notched another triple-double with 39 points, 17 rebounds and seven assists in a 70-55 win over Potlatch.
