Congratulations to Melba track and field athlete Kendall Clark for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Idaho High School Athlete of the Week for April 24-April 29!

She's not just an all-state basketball player - she is a college-level track athlete, too. And Clark notched four wins in a non-league dual meet against Kuna, winning the triple jump (state-best 37-1), high jump (5-0), 4x100 relay (51.0 seconds) and 4x200 relay (1:48.7).

Clark collected 83.7% of the overall vote and finished ahead of St. Marie's softball standout Taci Watkins, who had 10.3% of the vote. She was also an SBLive Idaho athlete of the week winner during basketball season.

We are currently accepting WaFd Bank Player of the Week nominations. If you would like to nominate an athlete, please email athleteoftheweek@scorebooklive.com or message us on Twitter or Instagram at @sbliveid.
