Here are the candidates for SBLive's Indiana High School Athlete of the Week for Feb. 20-25 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff.

Flory Bidunga, Kokomo boys basketball

The five-star junior prospect had 18 points, 14 rebounds and six blocks in a 72-36 win over Huntington North.

Markus Burton, Penn boys basketball

The Notre Dame recruit scored 34 points in an 85-44 win over Mishawaka.

Zane Doughty, Ben Davis boys basketball

The Valparaiso recruit had 18 points, 17 rebounds and five blocks in an 88-53 win over Don Bosco.

Brea Garber, Fairfield girls basketball

The senior guard scored 19 points, grabbed four rebounds and blocked three shots as the Falcons beat Corydon Central 49-42 to win the Class 3A state championship.

Talia Harris, Fishers girls basketball

The junior guard had 15 points and seven rebounds in a 46-42 loss to Bedford North Lawrence in the Class 4A state championship.

Matt Klinge, Lafayette Harrison boys swimming

The junior repeated as 50 free state champ in 19.95 seconds and also won the 100 butterfly in 47.90

Will Modglin, Zionsville boys swimming

He set a national record of 45.08 seconds in the 100 backstroke prelims before going 45.69 to win the title. He also won the 200 individual medley for the third straight year, breaking his own state record by going 1:43.74. He also was on the state record-setting 200 free relay team (1:20.53).

Madelyn Poynter, Lapel girls basketball

The junior wing had 15 points and five rebounds in a 38-37 loss to Forest Park in the Class 2A state championship.

Jayden Sanders, Evansville Reitz boys basketball

The senior scored 32 points in an 83-67 win against Evansville Bosse.

Aaron Shackell, Carmel boys swimming

The senior was a four-time state champ, winning the 200 and 500 freestyles and swimming on the first-place 200 medley and 400 free relay teams. He set a national record of 1:32.85 in the 200 free prelims.

Trent Sisley, Heritage Hills boys basketball

The sophomore scored 28 points in a 54-48 loss to Princeton.

Morgan Sonner, Lanesville girls basketball

The senior center scored 18 points as the Eagles beat Bethany Christian 60-41 to win the Class 1A state title.

Chloe Spreen, Bedford North Lawrence girls basketball

The junior guard scored 20 points and grabbed five rebounds in a 46-42 win over Fishers in the Class 4A state championship.

Ryan Swart, Hamilton Heights boys swimming

The junior won the state diving title with 512.15 points.

Zeke Tanoos, West Vigo boys basketball

The junior guard scored 37 points in a 64-58 loss to Shakamak.

Amber Tretter, Forest Park girls basketball

The senior had 13 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks in a 38-37 win over Lapel in the Class 2A state championship.

Ava Weber, Corydon Central girls basketball

The senior guard scored 23 points and grabbed 16 rebounds, both game highs, in a 49-42 loss to Fairfield in the Class 3A state championship.

Zoe Willems, Bethany Christian girls basketball

The junior guard had 17 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals in a 60-41 loss to Lanesville in the Class 1A state championship.
