Maryn Bixby, Dike-New Hartford

The senior hit 9 of 11 shots for the defending Class 2A state champion Wolverines in a 66-19 waltz past an eight-win Gladbrook-Reinbeck squad. Bixby finished with a game-high 22 points and handed out four assists.

Tillotti Fair, Riceville

The junior had 20 points and 11 rebounds, leading the unbeaten and fifth-ranked (Class 1A) Wildcats to a 48-31 victory over Turkey Valley.

Brynnly German, Martensdale-St. Marys

The senior posted a double-double with 29 points and 10 rebounds, helping the Blue Devils down Mount Ayr 70-47. German also had five steals and five assists.

Brynlie Hadenfeldt, Cedar Rapids Prairie

The sophomore posted a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds as the Hawks beat Dubuque Wahlert 61-52 in a battle of ranked teams. Prairie has won eight in a row since a season-opening loss to defending 5A state champion Johnston.

Sophia Hope, Waukee

The senior produced a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds as the Warriors downed West Des Moines Valley 59-48. Hope made four shots from beyond the 3-point arc.

Journey Houston, Davenport North

The junior and University of Iowa recruit chalked up a double-double with 26 points and 14 rebounds, leading the Wildcats to a 58-57 win over previously unbeaten Central DeWitt.

Amani Jenkins, Johnston

The junior finished with 23 points and seven rebounds for the Class 5A unbeaten and defending state champion Dragons in a 74-46 win over Southeast Polk. Jenkins was 9-for-12 from the floor.

Addy Johnson, Westwood

The Class 2A third-ranked Rebels stayed unbeaten with a 44-31 triumph over Ridge View as Johnson, a senior and Wayne State College recruit, had 13 points, 12 rebounds and two steals.

Kierra Jungers, Newell-Fonda

Jungers, the daughter of highly successful Mustang head coach Dick Jungers, had 24 points and eight rebounds in a 72-29 victory over Pocahontas Area.

Grace Knutson, Cedar Falls

The senior standout and Drake University signee had a double-double of 28 points and 10 rebounds for the Tigers in an 85-47 victory over Waterloo East. Knutson hit six 3-pointers and dished out three assists.

Jayden Kuper, Monticello

The junior scored 28 points and raked down 17 rebounds for the Panthers in a 59-48 victory over Center Point-Urbana.

Brady Krager, Sioux Central

The junior hit seven 3-point shots, scoring 25 points to go along with eight rebounds and five steals as the Class 2A fifth-ranked Rebels stormed to a 74-32 win over West Bend-Mallard.

Kamryn Kurt, North Linn

The senior scored 24 points, leading the Class 1A top-ranked Lynx to an 86-21 win over Starmont. Kurt made 10 of 13 shots and added seven assists.

Callie Levin, Solon

The University of Iowa commit tossed in 22 points, leading the Spartans to a 72-29 victory over Mid-Prairie. Levin tacked on eight rebounds, seven assists and seven steals.

Averie Lower, Clear Creek-Amana

The sophomore sensation scored 19 points, hitting five 3-pointers, as the unbeaten Clippers opened 2024 with a convincing 64-34 blowout of West Delaware.

Lauren McLaughlin, Algona

The junior had a game-high 19 points, leading the Bulldogs to a 70-37 win over Fort Dodge St. Edmond. Lauren combined with younger sister Hayden for 31 points in the win.

Chloe Meester, Mount Vernon

The junior double-doubled with 16 points and 10 rebounds as the unbeaten and second-ranked (Class 3A) Mustangs rolled to a 78-72 win over Iowa City Regina, a seven-win squad.

Katelyn Muller, West Des Moines Dowling

Muller, just a freshman, canned eight 3-pointers and scored 26 points, leading the Maroons past Urbandale 80-29. Muller, who was 8-for-11 from beyond the arc, also had five rebounds and two steals.

Jayden Sellers, Panorama

Sellers led the way with 23 points, hitting 11 of 15 shots and the undefeated Panthers nearly pitched a shutout, blasting Ogden 81-4.

Kate Shaffer, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont

The junior recorded a rare triple-double with 14 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds, leading the Rockets to a 72-49 win over Knoxville.

Melina Snoozy, Sioux City Bishop Heelan

The freshman had a career-high 25 points, leading the Crusaders past Sioux City West 66-48 to remain unbeaten. Snoozy also pulled down six rebounds.

Reggi Spotts, Mason City

The senior led the Class 4A fifth-ranked Riverhawks to a 57-47 victory over Fort Dodge, scoring 20 points. Spotts is a four-year starter and the team’s leading scorer

Emma Thompson, Waverly-Shell Rock

The senior had a doule-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds in the unbeaten Go-Hawks’ 55-43 win over Center Point-Urbana.

Abby Tuttle, North Polk

The junior had 17 points and six rebounds for the Class 4A third-ranked Comets in a 69-33 victory over Bondurant-Farrar on Friday. Tuttle scored 19 points, four rebounds and four assists in a Tuesday win over Ballard.

Ava Underwood, Council Bluffs St. Albert

Underwood had a double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds as the Saintes won their ninth straight while avenging an earlier loss to Harlan, 64-51, in a matchup of state-ranked foes.
