Bennett has a milestone night in a win for the Lady Spartans

Destiny Bennett had a memorable night for more than one reason.
On Feb. 10, Bennett - a junior guard for Salmen's girls basketball team - went for 46 points in the Lady Spartans' 74-10 win against Franklinton. On that same night, she had her 1,000th career point.
For her efforts, Bennett was voted the SBLive Louisiana Athlete of the Week covering Feb. 6-12.
