Here are the candidates for SBLive Sports Maryland High School Girls Basketball Player of the Week for Jan. 8-14 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive's staff. Read through our notes on each nominee and then cast your vote in out poll.

Voting will conclude on Sunday, January 21st at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced next week.

Here are this week's nominees:

Stephanie Bunker, Indian Creek: Bunker finished with 30 points as Indian Creek defeated Chapelgate Christian, 76-31, to remain undefeated in IAAM C Conference competition.

Ayla Galloway, Fallston: The senior, who will play lacrosse at Mercer University next year, posted 14 points and 12 rebounds in Fallston’s 46-35 victory over Rising Sun, and finished with 22 points, 16 points and 11 assists in a 48-43 win over C. Milton Wright.

Nia Green, Hammond: The senior forward had 22 points and five assists in Hammond’s 52-18 victory over Centennial and 21 points and 13 rebounds in a 57-29 victory over defending Class 3A state champ Howard.

Bailey Harris, St. Mary’s: The sophomore guard/forward scored 31 points as St. Mary’s defeated Roland Park Country, 63-32.

London Harvey, Rosedale Christian: The junior forward scored 30 points in Rosedale’s 82-51 victory over City at the Baltimore City Schools’ Basketball Academy.

Emma Jankowiac, C. Milton Wright: Jankowiac posted 16 points, eight steals, eight rebounds and four assists in the Mustangs’ 44-36 victory over Elkton.

Shelby Lewis, Mount de Sales Academy: Lewis finished with 26 points and 14 rebounds as Mount de Sales defeated Friends, 56-19, and 19 in a 58-38 win over Concordia Prep.

Emily Signor, North Harford: Signor had a double-double - 20 points and 12 rebounds - leading North Harford to a 53-25 victory over Joppatowne.

Kennedy Umeh, McDonogh: The senior center, who will play for Stanford next season, had a career-high 39 points in McDonogh’s 81-62 victory over St. Mary’s.

Dylan Watson, River Hill: Watson scored 25 points as River Hill edged Oakland Mills, 49-48.
