Here are the candidates for SBLive Sports Maryland High School Girls Basketball Player of the Week for January 29-February 3 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive's staff. Read through our notes on each nominee and then cast your vote in out poll.

Voting will conclude on Sunday, February 11th at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced next week.

Here are this week's nominees:

Sam Donovan, Edgewood: Donovan had 29 points as Edgewood defeated Fallston, 50-47, for the Rams’ first victory over their Harford County rival in nearly a decade.

Bailey Harris, St. Mary’s: The sophomore finished with 31 points in St. Mary’s 74-60 victory over Archbishop Spalding.

Emma Jankowiac, C. Milton Wright: Jankowiac had 30 points and 10 rebounds in the Mustangs’ 63-44 victory over Aberdeen.

Maggie Lawrence, Chesapeake-Anne Arundel: Lawrence had 17 points and 13 rebounds as Chesapeake defeated Old Mill, 42-27.

Shelby Lewis, Mount de Sales: The junior scored 24 points in Mount de Sales’ 42-25 victory over Garrison Forest, 26 points and seven rebounds in a 43-34 win over Dulaney and 13 points and 13 rebounds in the Sailors’ 48-44 victory over Notre Dame Prep.

Malinda Morgan, Indian Creek: Morgan finished with 26 points in Indian Creek’s 75-37 victory over Catholic, and 19 points in a 71-47 win over Park.

Emily Signor, North Harford: The junior totaled 23 points and 18 rebounds in North Harford’s 60-40 win over Perryville and 24 points and 16 rebounds in a 48-27 victory over North East.

Ava Wooster, Southern: The senior had 26 points and 13 rebounds in Southern’s 54-47 victory over Annapolis.

Sara Yarnell: Hammond: Yarnell had 18 points and 15 rebounds in Hammond’s 53-25 rout of Glenelg, and 23 points and 14 rebounds in a 58-12 win over Wilde Lake.

Sophie Zirkin, Park: Zirkin finished with 31 points, including nine 3-pointers, in Park’s 40-26 victory over Beth Tfiloh.
