Here are the candidates for SBLive Sports Maryland High School Boys Basketball Player of the Week for February 5-10 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive's staff. Read through our notes on each nominee and then cast your vote in out poll.

Voting will conclude on Sunday, February 18th at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced next week.

Here are this week's nominees:

Liam Barney, South River: Barney finished with 27 points in South River’s 65-49 victory over Broadneck, and had 13 points in a 68-60 win over Chesapeake-Anne Arundel.

Christian Chen, Glenelg: Chen scored 30 points, all in the final three quarters, as Glenelg defeated Marriotts Ridge, 71-53.

James Crimaudo, South River: Crimaudo had 27 points in South River’s 75-55 victory over Winters Mill, and 22 points in a 68-60 win over Chesapeake-Anne Arundel.

Caden Diggs, Bullis: The senior wing who’ll play for Old Dominion University next season, scored 25 points (13 straight from late in third quarter into early fourth) in Bullis’ 51-49 over Georgetown Prep.

Nakhi Miller, St. Michaels: Miller finished with 34 points as St. Michaels defeated Mardela, 79-47.

Drew Pape, Patterson Mill: Pape had 25 points in Patterson Mill’s 73-58 win over Harford Tech, and 24 points in a 55-42 victory over Edgewood.

Julian Sabbat, Chapelgate Christian: Sabbat had 28 points and 13 rebounds in Chapelgate’s 70-67 overtime victory over Friends, and 22 points in a 56-51 win over St. John’s Catholic Prep.

Braden Sauritch, River Hill: Sauritch had a season-high 35 points in River Hill’s 70-61 victory over Wilde Lake, and 20 in a 74-63 win over Howard.

Benson Sommerfeldt, South Carroll: Sommerfeldt posted 18 points and 12 rebounds in the Cavaliers’ 58-43 win over Francis Scott Key.

Cayne Woodland, C. Milton Wright: Woodland finished with 19 points, including the 1,000th of his career, in C. Milton Wright’s 77-31 victory over Harford Tech, and had another 19 in a come-from-behind 77-76 win over Elkton.
