Here are the candidates for SBLive Sports Maryland High School Girls Basketball Player of the Week for February 12-16 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive's staff. Read through our notes on each nominee and then cast your vote in out poll.

Voting will conclude on Sunday, February 25th at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced next week.

Here are this week's nominees:

Claire Bono, Smithsburg: Bono collected 32 points, nine rebounds, nine assists and five steals in Smithsburg’s 63-53 win over Liberty.

Stephanie Bunker, Indian Creek: The freshman forward finished with 19 points as Indian Creek won its second straight IAAM C Conference title with a 60-36 victory over Glenelg Country.

Amber Fleary, McDonogh: The junior guard had 27 points, five steals, four rebounds and three assists in the Eagles’ 54-53 victory over St. Frances in the IAAM A Conference championship game.

Ayla Galloway, Fallston: The senior posted finished with 21 points, 10 rebounds and seven steals as Fallston clinched the Upper Chesapeake Bay Athletic Conference Chesapeake Division crown with a 49-35 win over Patterson Mill.

Nia Green, Hammond: The senior forward had 18 points and 12 assists as Hammond clinched the Howard County championship with a 64-32 win over Reservoir.

Annie Jackson, Gerstell: The senior guard finished with a team-high 14 points in Gerstell’s 51-49 victory over John Carroll in the IAAM B Conference title game at Stevenson University.

Ofundern Mbelem, Indian Creek: Mbelem, a freshman, had 19 points in Indian Creek’s 60-36 win over Glenelg Country in the IAAM C Conference championship game at Stevenson University.

Leah Miller, South Carroll: Miller finished with 17 points and 18 rebounds in South Carroll’s 39-28 victory over Smithsburg.

Fanta Minteh, Broadfording: Minteh had 25 points and 12 rebounds in a 40-34 victory over Fort Hill.

Mackenzie Wharton, Broadneck: Wharton, who will play for Keystone College next season, broke the program’s single-game scoring record with 37 points (previous 36 in 1990) in the Bruins’ 65-20 victory over Arundel. She had 16 points in a 57-48 victory over Annapolis.
