Congratulations toBeverly boys basketball guardRyder Frostfor being voted SBLive’s Massachusetts High School Athlete of the Week for Dec. 6-12!

The sophomore had 17 points and 7 rebounds, 2 steals, and 2 blocks in 54-57 loss against St. Mary’s.

Frost received 53.33% of the vote, beating out St. Mary's Jenna Chaplain who finished second with 20%. Peabody's Sarah Powers and Danvers' Brayden Holt tied for third with 6.67%.

Ali Barry, St. Mary’s Boys Basketball: Had 16 points in a 57-54 win over Beverly.

Jenna Chaplain, St. Mary’s Girls Hockey: Scored both goals in a 2-0 win against Archbishop Williams.

Sarah Powers, Peabody Girls Hockey: Had a pair of goals and an assist in a 8-3 win over rival Beverly.

Jamie Dupont, Beverly Girls Hockey: Had 2 goals and assisted on three others in a 8-2 win over Shawsheen. 

Zachary DaSilve-Grondin, Beverly Boys Swimming: Captured the 50 freestyle with a time of 24:59, and the 200 free (1:53.33).

Brayden Holt, Danvers Boys Hockey: Had 15 saves in a shutout 5-0 win over North Ready in the Lowell Cobblestone Tournament. 

Ben Dillon, Masconoment Boys Basketball: Had a team-high 23 points in a 59-56 win over Tewksbury. 

Catherine Antwi, Lowell Catholic Girls Basketball: Had 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists in a 36-34 win over Essex Tech.

Chole Jekanowski, Hopkins Academy Girls Basketball: Had 14 points, 12 rebounds, and 2 blocks in a 40-32 win over Franklin County Tech.

Jason Andrews, Seekonk Boys Basketball: Had 12 points, 4 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 3 assists in a 75-40 loss against Norton.
