Congratulations to Scituate boys lacrosse attack/offensive midfielder James Sullivan for being voted SBLive’s Massachusetts High School Athlete of the Week for April 11-17!

The freshman scored five goals and had two assists in a 16-2 win against Plymouth North.

Sullivan ran away with this week's honor, receiving 89.58% of the total vote.

Aidan Maguire, St. Sebastian's boys lacrosse: The Duke commit recorded a hat-trick (three goals) in an 11-9 win against Middlesex.

Brady Hunt, Billerica boys lacrosse: Hunt had a monster game - scoring two goals and adding seven assists to lead Billerica to an 18-5 win over Central Catholic.

Brian Foley, Milton baseball: Foley struck out 10 batters in five innings pitched to record the win on the mound against Needham.

Andrew Manning, BC High baseball: Manning had the go-ahead triple to lift the Eagles past Wachusett, 8-7, in extra innings.

Kaysie Demoura, Taunton softball: Demoura delivered the walk-off hit to score her teammate, Kyleah Plumb, to give Taunton the 5-4 win against Newton North.

Brigid Earley, Franklin girls lacrosse: Earley had seven saves in a dominant 20-1 win over North.

Shannon Varvitsiotis, Abington softball: Went 2-for-3 at the plate with a double, a triple, two RBIs, and scored two runs in an 11-1 win against West Bridgewater. Varvitsiotis also pitched four shutout innings and struck out 11 batters in the victory.

Kayla Magit, Oliver Ames girls lacrosse: Magit scored four goals in a 13-3 win over East Bridgewater.

Olivia Smith, Medfield girls lacrosse: Smith scored her first goal, had an assist, four ground balls, and caused two turnovers in a 19-5 win over Norwood.
