Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Massachusetts High School Athlete of the Week for June 6-12 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff. Sophia Prouty, Duxbury girls lacrosse: Prouty reached her 100th career point in Duxbury's 21-2 playoff win against Wakefield. 

Alanna Dumalac, Wellesley girls lacrosse: Dumalac scored five goals and had fours assists to lead Wellesley to a 14-1 state playoff win over Chelmsford. 

Lily Newhall, St. Mary's softball: Newhall threw a complete-game with 13 strikeouts and only allowed two hits to lead the Spartans to the state semifinals for the first time since 2014 with a 11-2 win over Triton.

Maeve Kelly, Medfield girls lacrosse: Kelly had three goals, three assists, six ground balls, and caused two turnovers in Medfield's state playoff win over Arlington Catholic in the Sweet 16.

Makenna Donovan, Methuen softball: Donovan smashed a two-run home run to lift Methuen to the state semifinals with a 4-3 win over King Philip. 

Ryan Cho, Acton-Boxborough boys lacrosse: Cho scored four goals and added an assist to lead Acton-Boxborough to a 16-8 win over Natick and into the state quarterfinals. 

Alex Martin, Shrewsbury baseball: Martin went 3-for-4 at the plate with a double and four RBIs to lead Shrewsbury to a 7-3 state quarterfinals win over BC High. 

Will Emsing, BC High boys lacrosse: Emsing scored seven goals in BC High's 23-5 playoff win over Lexington in the Round of 16.

Shea Donovan, Milton baseball: Donovan went 2-for-3 at the plate with three RBIs to lead Milton to the state semifinals with a 8-3 win over Leominster. 

Luke Davis, Franklin boys lacrosse: Davis netted five goals in Franklin's 12-7 playoff win against North Andover in the Round of 16.
