Last week provided a lot of excitement in the high school football world, and we now have a shake up in the rankings, including a new number one. This week might be the most action packed week of the season so far with some great ranked vs. ranked matchups/battle of undefeated teams on deck.

Check out our Michigan power 25 rankings here.

Vote now for SBLive's Athlete of the Week.

Here are this week’s top games:

No. 3 West Bloomfield (4-0) @ No. 12 Adams (3-1)

West Bloomfield continues to climb the rankings as they are up to no. 3 in the state. A big test is in its way as they look to stay undefeated as it takes on no. 12 Rochester Adams on the road. You don’t want to miss this game.

Chippewa Valley (4-0) @ No. 7 Dakota (4-0)

There are a few battles this week between undefeated ranked teams, and we start with this one.

A matchup between two top-10 teams that haven’t lost yet doesn't come around often, so make sure to check this one out. Whoever comes out on top is going to be in a great position as we start to hit the later stretch of the season.

No. 14 Caledonia (4-0) @ No. 19 Grandville (4-0)

Another battle of undefeated teams here as Caledonia hits the road to Grandville. A similar situation to the last game. Neither team is going to be in a bad position if it drops this one, but it’s hard to find a bigger win than this.

Catholic Central (3-1) @ Brother Rice (2-2)

Catholic Central is going to be put to the test with this one. Catholic Central has only one loss, but a second one could knock them from the rankings.

On the flip side, it’s time for Brother Rice to make a playoff push, and beating a ranked Catholic Central squad would be a great step in the right direction.

Oak Park (0-4) @ Bloomfield Hills (0-4)

I like to find matchups between two winless teams when I can because as a former high school athlete, I know what it can mean to a team like this to get a win.

Both of these teams have worked hard in the offseason and deserve a win, and one of them is going to get that first win this week. Celebrate every win.

St. Ignatius (OH) (3-1) @ No. 7 River Rouge (3-0)

St. Ignatius, the no. 15-ranked team in Ohio, travels to No. 7 River Rouge for a midseason interstate matchup.

River Rouge is ranked no. 7 in Michigan for a reason, and it’s going to be tough to beat at home, but this matchup could be a way to size-up our neighbors to the southeast.

No. 24 South Christian (4-0) @ Thornapple Kellogg (2-2)

South Christian has itself a tricky test this week. It's sitting in a great spot at 4-0 and ranked 24, and a win can get it even closer to the top. It’ll be tough to keep the momentum going in a tough road game against Thornapple Kellogg.

Fordson (1-3) @ No. 2 Belleville (4-0)

The talent on Belleville's roster is absurd, and while this game likely won’t be particularly close, you still want to see that talent, specially the quarterback play, Bryce Underwood, on display.

Ford (3-1) @ No. 5 Detroit King (2-1)

This is a big one for these two one loss teams. On the road to the playoffs, you want to avoid that second loss for as long as you can. Unfortunately for one of these teams, it has to come this week.

A win for Ford would likely put them into the rankings, while a win for King could get them into the top three as some teams ahead of them have tough contents this week.

Forest Hills Eastern (4-0) @ No. 1 Catholic Central (Grand Rapids) (4-0)

Our last matchup on the top games list is our final battle of unbeaten teams. The difference between these two: one is ranked top-10 and one isn’t. Forest Hills Eastern wants to make a statement this weekend.

Make sure to check out next week’s top games and enjoy another week of football!
