1. Orchard Lake St. Mary's (26-3)

Orchard Lake St. Mary's got back to its winning ways with a big 6-0 week

2. Northville (21-2)

Previous ranking: 2

Northville dropped a game this week, but also came up with three big wins. The Broncos remain at No. 2.

3. Battle Creek Lakeview (26-2)

Previous ranking: 3

Another big week for Battle Creek Lakeview. A 6-0 week is very impressive, but there is no one in front to be jumped.

4. Bloomfield Hills Brother Rice (21-6)

Previous Ranking: 5

Brother Rice had an undefeated week as well, improving to 21-6 and jumping University Liggett for the only change in the top-5.

5. Grosse Pointe Woods University Liggett (15-8)

Previous ranking: 4

Grosse Pointe Woods University Liggett had a rough week going 2-3, but it has proved it still belongs in the top-5.

6. Grand Rapids Christian (18-3)

Previous Ranking: 6

Grand Rapids Christian looked good and went 3-0 last week, keeping its coveted No. 6 spot.

7. Stevensville Lakeshore (15-7)

Previous ranking: 9

The first team with significant movement is Stevensville Lakeshore. After a big week, it jumps two spots to No. 7.

8. Bay City Western (16-0)

Previous ranking: 10

Another team to jump two spots is Bay City Western. It just keeps winning.

  • 9. Hartland (10-6)

Previous ranking: 8

Hartland had a pretty solid week going 2-1, but it was hard to ignore the success of Bay City Western, and Hartland falls one spot.

10. New Boston Huron (14-5)

Previous ranking: 7

After a great week two weeks ago, New Boston Huron struggled and dropped two of three, falling to No. 10.

11. Grosse Pointe North (12-6)

Previous ranking: 11

Grosse Pointe North stays put at 11 after a busy five-game week.

12. Ada Forest Hills Eastern (13-2)

Previous ranking: 12

Ada Forest Hills Eastern recently lost its perfect season, and dropped another game this week. However, it remains at the No. 12 spot.

13. Rockford (14-4)

Previous ranking: 13

Rockford stays put as well after winning two games out of three last week.

14. Detroit Edison (13-2)

Previous ranking: 14

It wasn’t perfect like the week prior, but another good week for Detroit Edison as it goes 5-1 and hangs onto the No. 14 spot.

15. Bay City John Glenn (20-3)

Previous ranking: 19

Bay City John Glenn continues to climb after another perfect week. It takes one of the biggest jumps of the week and goes to No. 15.

16. Zeeland East (25-2)

Previous ranking: 17

Zeeland East fell for just the second time this season last week, but it also picked up four wins.

17. West Bloomfield (17-3)

Previous ranking: 18

West Bloomfield moves up one spot after splitting the four-game week.

18. Novi (10-5)

Previous ranking: 20

Novi continues to climb after a 3-0 week. The Wildcats are up three spots.

19. Monroe (15-7)

Previous ranking: 24

A week like last was needed for Monroe. After falling all the way back to No. 24, the Trojans had a huge week and move back into the top-20.

20. Lake Orion (13-7)

Previous ranking: 16

Lake Orion has one of the biggest falls after a 1-3 week.

21. Grosse Pointe South (16-7)

Previous ranking: 15

Grosse Pointe South also had a rough 1-3 week, pushing it back to No. 21.

22. Mattawan (16-6)

Previous ranking: 22

Mattawan stays put at No. 22 after another good week. It’ll be interesting to see how it closes out this season

23. Howell (11-7)

Previous ranking: 21

Howell takes a couple steps back after splitting the two-game week.

24. Okemos (16-4)

Previous ranking: 23

Okemos had a fine 2-0 week, but does get jumped after some good performances from other teams behind it.

25. Brighton (17-7)

Previous ranking: 25

Brighton again takes the final spot, clinging to No. 25 after going 2-1 last week.
